Line of research: The laboratory works in two main lines.

The first investigates different aspects of reversible protein phosphorylation, through the molecular characterization of protein phosphatases (PPs). The goal is to characterize proteins that interact with catalytic subunits of PPs identified in the eukaryotic microorganisms Dictyostelium discoideum and Neurospora crassa.

The second line consists of the analysis of the transcriptome of organisms, tissues, and cells subjected to different physiological or pathological situations using DNA microarray technology on glass slides (DNA chips) and bioinformatics tools.
